A Walk with Najeeb

Quarantined during Omicron in January 2022, it took me to reading 'Aadu Jeevitham' by Benyamin. Sitting and completing the entire book in one stretch happens rarely. Turning off the hissing cooker, spreading clothes following the alert from the washing machine, attending to the doorbell rung by the cooking gas delivery person - these disruptions often break the rhythm of reading! It was a blessing in disguise, contracting Covid-19 and being forced into quarantine while the rest of my family remained safe and healthy outside, taking care of me. Reclining in the room, waiting for the knock at the door that brings delicious and healthy food, was enjoyed for a couple of days. Fortunately, my taste buds were left untouched by the virus! It was then that I recollected Najeeb's story lying unread and untouched on my table. It wasn't easy to read the book in one go as my body yearned for complete rest. Every time I closed the book for short breaks and returned after a nap, I l

The Magic of Laughter: Uniting People

The closeness between people can be felt through laughing together, haven’t you noticed ?. Victor Borge, the renowned Danish comedian once said, “Laughter is the shortest distance between two people.” What does that mean? Think of laughter as a superpower to connect us with people. When we laugh together, it’s like speaking in one dialect notwithstanding our nationality or belief. It’s a way of letting each other know what we’re thinking without using any words. This may draw us closer to someone when we share a joke together and make us feel we belong to the same side. In case there is any disagreement or problem, laughter can ease tension and make it simpler to talk things through. That’s how peace is achieved easily because it acts as an invisible weapon. Therefore, remember that laughter has the magic of bringing you close when next time you share a joke with someone else. Besides being just short distance between two individuals’ laughter is also like a journey. Farhan. V. M, Hea

Streepadham: A Book Review

I recently read the book "Sthreepadham" by Joyce. Later, I discovered that it was also adapted into a serial by the same name. The book portrays the complex situations and hardships that today's women face. It revolves around Balasudha, the third daughter of Jaychandran Nair. She is in a relationship with their family friend's son, Sooraj, and their marriage is fixed. Suddenly, as a shock, Jaychandran Nair loses all his properties and wealth and is forced to shift into a rental house. Their elder son, Harikrishnan, is compelled to go to Kuwait to provide for the family. Due to family clashes between them, Bala's and Sooraj's marriage is canceled, and they part ways. Balasudha attempts suicide but is saved in time. Her family starts seeing her as a burden as they struggle with their income now. She is forced into an arranged marriage with Venugopal. Despite Venugopan being a little too old and also not investigating much about him and his family, Bala is force

Those Two Drops of Tear on Aadujeevitham

Since Ennu ninte Moideen, I haven’t had a theatre experience, though I have longed for it intensely. My family is not at all interested in ‘wasting’ their three hours in a movie theatre. Anyway, I want to watch a movie at the theatre itself. I got a perfect chance with the release of Aadujeevitham. It is for sure that Aadujeevitham is a much-awaited Malayalam movie, as its initial work started in 2010 and was released in 2024. Apart from this, it was one of the best-selling novels in Malayalam. Malayalam film lovers have been anticipating its visual experience for the last 14 years.  Moreover, my father had read this novel. So, it is the right moment to act.  I called my sisters and father and planned for it. My sisters were not at all in the mood to watch such a serious movie because they were the mothers of an eight-year-old boy and a six-year-old girl, respectively. So, they preferred a comedy film instead, Premalu or something. They are afraid that the children will get bored and c

The Role of Technology in Business Education: Integrating Innovation into Management Practices

The success of the company is thought to be significantly influenced by innovation. Now the real questions that arise here is, What type of innovation is required, though? In what way is the strategy defined? What steps should businesses take to promote innovation? An innovation strategy is essential to corporate innovation because it helps firms choose the innovation plan that best fits their objectives, manages their processes, and clarifies how to employ resources to generate value and a competitive edge.  Digital tools and platforms are being used in business education as one of the main ways that technology is changing the field. A plethora of resources, including learning management systems, online collaboration tools, interactive simulations, and virtual reality experiences, are available to students nowadays to accommodate a variety of learning preferences and styles. The knowledge gap between theory and practice is reduced by these resources, which encourage participation and
