The Magic of Laughter: Uniting People

The closeness between people can be felt through laughing together, haven’t you noticed ?. Victor Borge, the renowned Danish comedian once said, “Laughter is the shortest distance between two people.” What does that mean?

Think of laughter as a superpower to connect us with people. When we laugh together, it’s like speaking in one dialect notwithstanding our nationality or belief. It’s a way of letting each other know what we’re thinking without using any words. This may draw us closer to someone when we share a joke together and make us feel we belong to the same side.

In case there is any disagreement or problem, laughter can ease tension and make it simpler to talk things through. That’s how peace is achieved easily because it acts as an invisible weapon.

Therefore, remember that laughter has the magic of bringing you close when next time you share a joke with someone else. Besides being just short distance between two individuals’ laughter is also like a journey.
