Dragged into this relationship years ago

I shunned him and tried to walk away

Destiny is strange, the attempt was in vain!


Urged to be a part of me, helpless was him

He would show me what I fail to see, they assured;

He showed me indeed, what I failed to see!


We walked together, shared views alike

Slept, dreamt and woke up together

Alas! I fell for him!


He grew thicker but lighter, as I grew older

Naughty him; slides often playfully

To be tightly held close to me!


I can’t, but admit; we are in love

We could hardly part, I understand

Abandoned will he be, the moment I bid adieu!

 

You suit none, save for me

You were designed for me

Dear spectacles, you will lose your sight once I lose mine!

 ഷുഹൈബ് സർ ആണ് എതിര് എന്ന പുസ്തകത്തിന്റെ കവർ പേജ് ആദ്യമായി അയച്ചു തന്നത്. 'ചെറോണയുടെയും അയ്യപ്പന്റെയും മകന്റെ ജീവിതസമരം' എന്ന ആ ടൈറ്റിൽ അന്നേ മനസ്സിൽ കുറിച്ചിട്ടിരുന്നതാണ്. പിന്നീട് എം. കുഞ്ഞാമനും, എതിരും കേരള സാഹിത്യ അക്കാദമി അവാർഡ് തിരസ്കരണത്തിലൂടെ വീണ്ടും ചർച്ചയായി.മൂന്നാം സെമസ്റ്റർ ബി.എ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് ആത്മകഥ എന്ന പാഠഭാഗത്തിൽ വി. ടി യെ പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തുമ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾ വായിക്കണം എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് കുഞ്ഞാമനെയും എതിരും പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തി. നൂറുസിംഹാസനങ്ങൾ ബി. കോം .വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് എടുക്കുമ്പോൾ വീണ്ടും,ദളിത്‌ സാഹിത്യം എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് കുഞ്ഞാമനെയും പറഞ്ഞു കൊടുത്തു . ഈയിടെ വിവാദമായ ദേവസ്വം, പട്ടികജാതി-പട്ടികവർഗ്ഗ പിന്നോക്ക ക്ഷേമ മന്ത്രി ശ്രീ.കെ. രാധാകൃഷ്ണന്റെ 'ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ ജാതി വിവേചനം' കുട്ടികൾ 'മിസ്സേ..ഇപ്പഴും ഇതൊക്കെയുണ്ടല്ലോ' എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് ചർച്ചക്ക് തുടക്കം കുറിച്ചപ്പോൾ, 'എന്നെ പാണൻ എന്ന് വിളിക്കരുത്' എന്ന എതിരിലെ അധ്യായമാണ് ഓർമ്മ വന്നത്. പക്ഷേ അപ്പോഴും എതിര് എന്ന ആ ആത്മകഥ ഞാൻ മുഴുവനായും വായിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല എന്നതാണ് സത്യം. ചില അധ്യായങ്ങൾ മാത്രമേ വായിച്ചിരുന്നുള്ളൂ..കുട

കോളേജ് അധ്യാപക തസ്തികയും ജൂനിയർ റിസർച്ച് ഫെലോഷിപ്പും ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കി കഠിനപ്രയത്നം നടത്തി യുജിസി - നെറ്റ് പരീക്ഷയെഴുതിയ വിദ്യാർഥികളുടെ മുന്നിലേക്ക് , പരീക്ഷയുടെ ചോദ്യപേപ്പർ ഡാർക്ക് നെറ്റിലും ടെലഗ്രാമിലും അടക്കം ആറ് ലക്ഷം രൂപയ്ക്ക്  വിൽപ്പനയ്ക്കുവെച്ചു എന്ന വാർത്തകൂടി എത്തുമ്പോൾ എൻ . ടി . എ എന്ന സംവിധാനത്തോടുള്ള പ്രതിഷേധത്തോടൊപ്പം തകർന്നുപോയ സ്വപ്നങ്ങൾ കൂടിയുണ്ട് പലരുടേയും വാക്കുകളിൽ .- മാതൃഭൂമി   എല്ലാ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളും ഇപ്പോൾ FYUGP  യുടെ ചർച്ചകളിലും അത് നടപ്പാക്കാൻ വേണ്ടിയുള്ള ഓട്ടപാച്ചിലിലും ആണ് .  വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിലെ   കോർഡിനേറ്റർമാരും വകുപ്പ് മേധാവികളും   നിരന്തരമായി മീറ്റിങ്ങുകൾ കൂടുകയും , ഉരുത്തിരിഞ്ഞുവരുന്ന സംശയങ്ങൾക്ക് ഉത്തരം കണ്ടെത്തലിന്റെയും പിറകിലാണ് ഏവരും .  പുതിയ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ നയം ഊന്നൽ കൊടുക്കുന്നത് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളിൽ വിദ്യക്കു മുകളിൽ കഴിവ് നേടിക്കൊടുക്കുക എന്നതാണ് .  അതിനോടൊപ്പം തന്നെ   മൂല്യബോധമുള്ള   മാനുഷികമൂല്യങ്ങൾ ഉയർത്തി പിടിക്കുന്ന ഒരു തലമുറയെ വാർത്തെടുക്കുക എന്നതുകൂടെ ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ടുകൊണ്ടാണ്
