Innocence Amidst Chaos
The young child built a sand castle
with his own hands,
but the wave takes it away.
Anguished, he cries.
Because the tide had shattered his dreams
in addition to a sand castle.
However, the kid adores the sea.
The little child knows how to forgive
If everyone had that small child's qualities
if everyone had such a kind heart,
Then, humanity would never have to descend to such depths.
If they could learn to let go;
there would be no needless bloodstains;
there would be no tears to weep
the little child knows how to forgive
Amid the mayhem, firearms blazing,
among the atrocities of these times of conflict,
The echoes of the little child's voice,
resound as a beacon, a hope for all.
Those scattered buildings,
Shattered dreams,
would be a thing of the past
if the inner kid in us survives.
All the violence would fade away
for all the little chi
ld knows how to forgive.
