The Fall of the Matriarch
It's cruel what age does to her.
The old days of her busy household works
And the endless feasts are mere shadows in her memory.
The weak nerves and frail limbs give her a tough time.
The physical ailments boggle her head.
Her natural grace is lost amidst the perpetual fights between her children.
She feels isolated in her own family.
She gets trapped in the pointless gibberish about partition.
Unable to think clearly,
She has lost touch with her higher self
And the quintessential love.
Where can she find the strength to live through?
Where lies salvation?
It's cruel what age does to her...
