Splendid Art

''Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life."

Humans are splendid artists by birth. Every individual has his own quality in various fields. An art is the inventive quality of thinking and imagination. Arts make the man powerful, resourceful and brave and restructure his feelings, thoughts and aptitudes. Art is inspiring and stimulating for the human mind. Of course, we all don't like the same types of art or enjoy every single piece in the same way; however, when we see a work of art, our feelings and thoughts are often awakened. There is a connection of art as an exterior stimulus with an inner emotional state in our minds. This is one reason behind the value placed on art.

Throughout history, art has been given many valuable meanings, and different objects have been given a great importance because of what they mean or represent to a specific group of people. Some have been treasured because of their religious significance; others have become symbols of political power or national identity. Some are not only valued for their beauty but are also given a material value, especially pieces created with precious metals. Others have become symbols of their time.

The modern trends and developments come about in this field are not desirable. The coarse styles and trends emerging in arts make the arts inhumane and immoral so that people keep away from the real artistic way of life. These trends destroy the arts and nullify its beauty. An art is a way of life to civilize the people, to modify their aptitudes, to facilitate the love and harmony, to discard the evil from the hearts, rather to purify the body and soul.

 ഞങ്ങൾ കൂട്ടുകുടുംബം ആയിട്ടാണ്  ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നത്. ഇടക്കെപ്പോഴോ ചിലർ ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോയിരുന്നു. പോയവരാരും പിന്നീട് തിരിച്ചുവന്നില്ല. എല്ലാവരുടെയും മുഖത്ത് ഒരുപോലെ സന്തോഷവും സങ്കടവും കാണാമായിരുന്നു. എല്ലാവരെയും കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപോകാൻ ആരൊക്കെയോ വരുമായിരുന്നു. ഞാൻ കേട്ട മുത്തശ്ശിക്കഥകൾ സത്യമായി പുലർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. ഒരിക്കൽ ഞാനും ഇറങ്ങേണ്ടി വരും എന്ന് എന്നെ കൂട്ടാനും ആളു വരും എന്ന്. കുറച്ചു നേരത്തേക്കെങ്കിലും  എന്നെ പൊന്നുപോലെ നോക്കും എന്ന്. എങ്കിലും എനിക്ക് ആശങ്കയില്ലാതില്ല ! പോയവർ ആരും ഇതുവരെ തിരിച്ചു വന്നില്ല. പിന്നീട് ഉറക്കമില്ലാ രാത്രികൾ ആയി  ഉറക്കത്തിൽ എങ്ങാനും പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടു പോയാലോ... നിലാവുള്ള ഒരു രാത്രിയിൽ ഒരു കാൽപെരുമാറ്റം ആരൊക്കെയോ എന്നെ തിരയുന്നു. തലമുതിർന്ന ആരോ ചൊല്ലി:  "ഇന്ന് നിന്നെ കൂട്ടാൻ ആളു വരും ". ഞാൻ ഇല്ലെന്ന് ഉറക്കെ നിലവിളി ചെങ്കിലും ആരും ചെവിക്കൊണ്ടില്ല. അവസാനം....  സുഗന്ധപൂരിതമായ കൈകളിൽ ഞാൻ എത്തപ്പെട്ടു. അയാളുടെ തലോടൽ ഞാൻ അനുഭവിച്ചു. പലതും ചോദിക്കാൻ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നെങ്കിലും  ഒന്നിനും സാധിച്ചില്ല. എങ്കിലും കൂടെ പോയി. കാലം കടന്നു പോയി അയാൾ ഉറക്കത്തിലേ...

എന്നോട് തന്നെ ബോധ്യപ്പെടുത്തുന്നത്

  ഒരു ദിവസം തൊട്ടടുത്ത വീട്ടിലെ കുട്ടിയെ കാണാനില്ല. വീട്ടിൽ നിന്നും സ്കൂളിലേക്ക് പുറപ്പെട്ടുവെങ്കിലും അവിടെ എത്തിയിട്ടില്ല. വല്ലാത്തൊരു അവസ്ഥയിലായിപ്പോയി അന്ന് ഞങ്ങളെല്ലാരും.. എന്തൊരു ഭീകരതയാണ് അത്തരം നിമിഷങ്ങൾക്ക്.. അനുഭവിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളവർക്ക് ശരിക്കും മനസ്സിലാകും. അവന്റെ ക്ലാസിൽ തന്നെയുള്ള അവന്റെ ഉപ്പാന്റെ പെങ്ങളുടെ കുട്ടിയാണ്    അവൻ വീട്ടിൽ നിന്നും സ്കൂളിലേക്ക് അവളോടൊപ്പം വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട് എന്നും ഇപ്പൊ കാണുന്നില്ല എന്നും അധ്യാപകരോട് പറഞ്ഞത്.റാക്കറ്റുകളുടെ കൂടി കാലമാണ്. അധ്യാപകരും, വീട്ടുകാരും    ഞങ്ങൾ അയൽവാസികളും    എല്ലാവരും മുൾമുനയിലായിരുന്നു.. അടുത്തുള്ള കിണറുകൾ ഒക്കെ നോക്കുന്നു. സ്കൂളിന് അടുത്തുള്ള കടകളിലും, ഓട്ടോക്കാരോടും ഒക്കെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നു.. ആകെ ബഹളവും, ടെൻഷനും.. എന്തായാലും ഒരു ഉച്ചസമയം ആയപ്പോഴേക്കും അവനെ കണ്ടെത്തി .. അത്രയും സമയം അവൻ ഒരിടത്ത് ഒളിച്ചിരുന്നതാണ്. ആരും അവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ യാതൊരു സീനും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയില്ല. അധ്യാപകരും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയില്ല. അക്കാര്യത്തിൽ അധ്യാപകർക്ക് നല്ല ധാരണ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു എന്നത് ഞാൻ പ്രത്യേകം ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു.. നീ ഇനി ഇന്ന് സ്കൂളിൽ വരുന്നോ...
