Last call! Big PSC Job Alert on Year’s End
Kerala PSC (Kerala Public Service Commission) is the state agency responsible for conducting various exams for recruiting to various services and posts in Civil Service Jobs Under the Kerala State Government. It is a constitutional body set up by the Constitution of the India. PSC conduct exam and recruit the applicants based on the merits and rules of reservations. There is other body like PSC to conduct all the connected activities as per the requisition of various authorities, like written test, Physical Efficiency test, Interviews, Online Exam, etc,
As
we come to face the end of 2023, Kerala PSC decided to surprise the aspiring
candidates by publishing notifications for the various post, ranging from
lowest qualification to the high-level Post.
Last
month, Keral PSC has already published notifications for the upcoming exams for
the various government departments including, Higher Secondary School Teacher
(Education Dept), Medical Education, Health Services, State Cooperative Bank,
Animal Husbandry, Kerala Police, Keral Water Authority, Port Authority,
Agriculture Dept., Excise Dept., Kerala Forest, Etc. The most highlighted and
awaited one was Clerk, for the various dept, earlier, it was referred to as LD
Clerk.
The
PSC, recently released a news! that more substantial recruitments
(Notifications) are being planned for this year. As per the available
information, by the end of December, exactly on 29th may release
more, covering general exams, which require qualification like Degree, +2.
While on the same time we can not confirm the exact post for which the
notifications are, but it is sure that uniform jobs like, Civil Police Officer,
SI, Women Civil Police Officer.
Some
of the major notifications that are awaited include:

Sub-inspector
of Police
LSGI
Secretary (Local Self Government Services
LSGI
Secretary, it is the first time in Kerala that the Kerala PSC is
going to conduct a common exam for various secretary posts such as Panchayath
Secretary, Block Panchayath Secretary, etc. It is a degree-level exam, and
candidates must have successfully completed a degree in any discipline.
Civil
Police Officer and Women CPO, around 800 vacancies are
expected for the post of police constable. The candidate must add their
physical measurement in their PSC profile before applying for the post. It is
clear that, along with written test, qualified candidates have to pass physical
efficiency test, again which will be conducted by the PSC.
Sub-inspector
of Police, also a degree level exam, candidates must have a
degree to apply for the post. Like Civil police office, SI Post also require
the candidates to qualify the physical efficiency test.
The
number of vacancies and detailed syllabus will be available when and only PSC
releases the notification and exam calendar. if you are new to Kerala PSC, it
is better to consult with institutions that provide PSC-related services for
guidance.
