"ടീച്ചറെ ഞാൻ കളക്ടർ, എനിക്ക് വക്കിലാവണം... ടീച്ചറെ എനിക്കൊരു നല്ല മനുഷ്യനായാ മതി" ആഹാ കൊള്ളാലോ. അപ്പോഴാണ് ഞാൻ ആലോചിച്ചത്,'ആരാണ് ഈ നല്ല മനുഷ്യൻ?' കുറച്ചു മനുഷ്യർ നല്ലത്, ബാക്കി മോശം എന്നൊക്കെ അറിയാൻ പറ്റുമോ? എന്തായാലും എല്ലാവരുടെയും ചോര ഒറ്റ നിറമാണ്. പക്ഷെ എല്ലാ മനുഷ്യരും വ്യത്യസ്‌തരാണ്. വെവ്വേറെ നിറങ്ങളാണ്... എനിക്ക് ഏറ്റവും ഇഷ്ട‌ം കടുംനീലയാണ്, എന്ന് വച്ച് ഞാൻ പറയാൻ പാടില്ലാലോ ആ നിറമാണ് നല്ലത്, മഞ്ഞ മോശമാണെന്ന്. നിറങ്ങളെ താരതമ്യം ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റാത്തതുപോലെ മനുഷ്യരേയും അങ്ങനെ നല്ലതും ചീത്തയുമായി വേർതിരിക്കാൻ പറ്റില്ലലോ. അപ്പോൾ അങ്ങനെ വേർതിരിക്കാൻ പറ്റാത്തതുകൊണ്ട് നിറങ്ങൾ വെറും നിറങ്ങളും മനുഷ്യർ വെറും മനുഷ്യരുമാണ്. അങ്ങനെ എല്ലാ മനുഷ്യരും ഒന്നാണെങ്കിൽ, ഈ കൊടും തണുപ്പത്ത് വേലിക്ക് അപ്പുറവും ഇപ്പുറവും തോക്കും കൊണ്ട് കാവൽ നില്ക്കുന്നത് എന്തിനാണാവോ. രണ്ട് ഭാഗത്തും ജീവിക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹമുള്ള മനുഷ്യന്മാർ ആയ സ്ഥിതിക്ക് യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യുന്നത് എന്ത

നെറികെട്ട കാലത്ത് ജീവിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യർ, അഭിമാനിക്കാൻ യാതൊന്നുമില്ലാതെ വരുമ്പോൾ എളുപ്പം എടുത്തണിയാവുന്ന ആടയാഭരണമായി കാണുന്ന ഒന്നാണ് ജാതിയും, മതവും. പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് ചിലവൊന്നുമില്ലാതെ പാരമ്പര്യമായി കിട്ടുന്ന ഈ ‘സമ്പത്ത്’ ഒരു സ്വകാര്യസ്വത്ത്‌ പോലെ അഹങ്കരിക്കാൻ മാത്രം പ്രയോജനപ്പെടും. അത്തരം ഒരു ‘ആട്ടം’ ആണ് കഴിഞ്ഞ രണ്ടു ദിവസമായി നമ്മൾ കണ്ടുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന മോഹിനിയാട്ടം. ആയമ്മ (അങ്ങനെ തന്നെ പറയട്ടെ ) പറയുന്ന ഈ മോഹിനിയാട്ടത്തിന്റെ വേരുകൾ തിരഞ്ഞു ചെല്ലുമ്പോൾ  നമ്മൾ എത്തി നിൽക്കുന്ന യാഥാർഥ്യം, ജാതി സമൂഹവും ജന്മിത്വ ഭരണവും നിലനിന്നിരുന്ന കാലത്ത് രൂപപ്പെട്ട നൃത്തരൂപമാണ് മോഹിനിയാട്ടം എന്നതിലാണ്.. മാത്രവുമല്ല ദേവദാസി നൃത്തത്തിൽ നിന്നും പരിണമിച്ചതാണ് മോഹിനിയാട്ടം എന്ന് പറയുന്നു. ജാത്യാധിപത്യമുള്ള സമൂഹത്തിൽ ദേവദാസി നൃത്തമോ മോഹിനിയാട്ടമോ എല്ലാവരുടേതുമായിരുന്നില്ല. അത് എല്ലാവരും ആടിയിരുന്നുമില്ല, എല്ലാവർക്കും വേണ്ടിയായിരുന്നുമില്ല ആട്ടം. ജാതിയിൽ ഉയർന്ന, മതത്തിലും രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തിലും അധികാരങ്ങളുണ്ടായിരുന്ന പുരുഷനുവേണ്ടി ശ്യംഗാര രസപ്രധാനത്തോടെ ആടപ്പെട്ടവയായിരുന്നു ഈ നൃത്തരൂപങ്ങൾ. അന്ന് പുരുഷനെ ഈ നൃത്തരൂപങ്ങൾക്ക്

 I want to write about my memorable family trip to Ooty. It was my first family trip with my father’s family. We always plan something, but at the end, something will happen, and we have to cancel the trip. But this time, we insisted on this trip, and finally, we made it happen. It was 6th February 2024. We started our trip early in the morning, nearly at 3:30 am. There were about 35 people in a small bus. Just as the bus started, we began playing music, dancing, and singing. A friend shared an interesting incident from her childhood. Her father was working in the Gulf. Whenever her father returned home, she wouldn’t let him leave or turn around.
