  Have you heard about eustress? Initially, it may bring bitterness, but eventually, it leaves a small smile on our faces when we reminisce about it. I want to share a eustress experience I had before my wedding. The first time I heard about the concept of eustress was during my degree. In psychology, we categorize stress mainly into two types: distress, it has negative impact on you, while eustress, which has positive impact. Eustress impact is short term and distress impact is long term. Eustress is energizing and motivates us, providing a positive outlook and the capability to overcome obstacles and challenges. Examples of experiences that may trigger eustress include stressful yet ultimately rewarding travel, challenging but fulfilling work, and desired major life changes, such as moving houses or getting married. Before writing poetry, English language had to be fully indianised and Indians had to be appropriately Anglicized. After independence Indian writers struggled for their literary identity in Indian literature in English. Society began to admit the fact that they are really a part of society and they have their own identity apart from measuring them with the criterion of males and females.   In December 2023, the Reserve Bank of India published a report detailing the state and advancement of banking in the country. As Per section 36(2) of the Banking Regulation Act,   1949, it is a statutory publication. The performance of the banking industry, which includes non-banking financial institutions and cooperative banks, is shown in this report for the first half of 2023–24 and for the years 2022–2023 (until September 23). The report's principal highlights are listed below. 1.      The Capital-to-Risk weightage Assets Ratio (CRAR) of scheduled commercial banks (SCBs) was 16.8% at the end of September 2023, according to the report, and all bank groups complied with the common equity tier 1 (CET1) ratio requirement as well as the regulatory minimum requirement. The capital ratio requirement of banks in relation to their risk-weighted assets is known as the CRAR (risk-weighted assets are loans). Another name for CRAR is the Capital Adequacy Ratio. Unlike ordinal utility analysis, which simply ranks preferences, cardinal utility analysis assigns numerical values to utility levels. The cardinal utility approach is based on the assumption that individuals make rational choices in order to maximize their overall satisfaction or utility.  Years ago, after the completion of Plus Two, a get-together was convened. It was to collect the original mark lists. By that time, most of the classmates had already joined UG courses. One of us got into a college in Bangalore (now Bengaluru). We were asked to come forward and speak about our experience at the school! No one came forward except her! The new city dweller.
